PD Day Camps for young sewers to get creativity flowing!

 

 

 

Camps are for ages 7 – 13 years

 

 

Class size for PD Days is limited to 6 sewers.

 

The kids will have SEW much fun on Sewing PD Days, building confidence while learning a life skill. Open to ages 7 to 13. Beginners are welcome. Sewing machines and all supplies are included.

 

 

PD Day Camp runs for the full day from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Before care starting at 8am is available for $10.00 extra and after care to 5pm for $20.00 or $25.00 for both before and after care.

 

Cost per session is $95.00, which includes all supplies

 

Bring a water bottle with a spill-proof lid and a lunch/snacks. No peanuts/nuts.

 

 

Project- An adorable Owl Stuffie , which will incorporate hand embroidery,

sewing machine stitching, hand sewing.

Skills Learned – Sewing machine basics. Sewing machine parts. How to thread a machine,

wind a bobbin and load the bobbin.. Learn basic embroidery stitches,

hand sewing, and sewing machine stitching.

Refund Policy- No Refund if cancelled 3 day prior to camp start. Cancellations received prior to the 3 days start time will receive credit to apply to another camp or sewing lessons.

 

Conduct Policy. Students will behave in a way that demonstrates responsibility, respect and age appropriate maturity. Horseplay, dangerous behaviour, using material in an irresponsible manner etc is absolutely not allowed and any student conducting him or herself in a manner deemed dangerous will prompt a call to a parent.
